Quirk Law Ventura County Community Scholarship

The Quirk Law Ventura County Community Scholarship is available to high school seniors who reside in Ventura County and will be attending college in the fall.

Eligibility requirements:

Whether you are homeschooled or attend a high school in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, or anywhere in Southern Ventura County, you are welcome to apply for the scholarship.

We ask that all applicants:

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Be a resident of Ventura County, California
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Submit an essay of approximately 500 words discussing the following:

As a personal injury firm, we see the devastating impacts that car accidents can have on drivers, passengers, and their loved ones. We try to raise awareness about driver safety in an attempt to reduce the number of car accidents in the Thousand Oaks area. But is it possible to eliminate car accidents completely? Write an essay (approximately 500 words) discussing how we can completely eliminate car accidents in the Thousand Oaks area.

Award: One student will be awarded $1,000; nonrenewable to be paid directly to the college or university admissions office.

The deadline to apply is May 30, 2023. A winner will be contacted by us directly in June 2023. Scholarship winners will be added to this web page.
