Quirk Law Ventura County Community Scholarship

The Quirk Law Ventura County Community Scholarship is available to high school seniors who reside in Ventura County and will be attending college in the fall.

Eligibility requirements:

Whether you are homeschooled or attend a Ventura County school such as Condor High School, you are welcome to apply for the scholarship.

We ask that all applicants:

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Be a resident of Ventura County, California
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Submit an essay of approximately 500 words discussing the following:

Personal injury lawsuits are an important check on the actions individuals, corporations and governments take that can cause serious damage to people’s lives. Oftentimes, laws, policies and behavior regarding the safety and respect of individuals are only positively changed due to civil tort actions. What are some proactive measures that Ventura County could take to protect the safety of its citizens and minimize the need for personal injury litigation? 

Award: One student will be awarded $1,000; nonrenewable to be paid directly to the college or university admissions office.

The deadline to apply is May 31, 2022. A winner will be contacted by us directly in June 2022. Scholarship winners will be added to this web page.
