Essay Topic

Most personal injury cases arise because someone had a duty to keep someone else safe and chose not to. This is called a “duty of care.” For example, drivers have a duty of care to follow road rules. When drivers don’t follow the rules, they cause accidents that result in serious injuries. In what other situations does someone have a “duty of care” to keep others safe? What happens when this duty of care is ignored?
